ERIN BLANEY

Erin Blaney is a licensed, professional tattoo artist based in Newport, Kentucky. She started tattooing in 2017, and since then she has developed a robust and complex tattooing style. She received her apprenticeship at Model Citizen Tattoo in Ithaca, NY, and later moved to Kentucky, where she worked at both Mothers Tattoo and Mosaic Tattoo Studio, both in Northern Kentucky. In 2024, Erin made history, opening her own tattoo studio, My Friends & I Tattoo— the first tattoo studio in Newport, KY! 

Erin is drawn to nature and the discovery in connecting with people around the world. She lives for live music and music festivals, and her art is greatly inspired by her favorite artist, Rezz. Specializing in a trippy, dark blackwork tattoo style, Erin sees her tattoo practice as an ever evolving growth journey—as an artist and a human being. 

As an affiliate with Axe of Kindness, Erin hopes to solidify her presence as a business owner that values giving back to the community and the world at large. She is excited to have My Friends & I Tattoo join in the same mission and hopes to see even more businesses partner as affiliates in the future.
