JOY RUMORE

Originally from Stamford, Connecticut, Joy started tattooing in 2001 in the tiny, but great state of Rhode Island. Since then, she's tattooed across the US and Europe at conventions, as a guest artist, a resident artist, and that one time as part of a museum exhibition.

Joy owned Twelve 28 Tattoo in Brooklyn, New York, co-owned Trinity Tattoo Collective in Ridgewood, New York, and has had private studios in New York and California. She loves to do a floral piece, but can get down with an emu in a tutu tattoo, as well. 

In addition to tattooing, Joy is a mom / wife / writer / podcaster / editor / illustrator / Capricorn.

She enjoys hanging out with people, but also really enjoys being alone. You can usually find her singing too loudly in her car, trying to befriend squirrels, and drinking too much coffee.
