Organization Highlight
BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF ROCHESTER
Although other cities have had Boys Clubs for more than a hundred years, Rochester was without a Club of its own until the 1970s. Today, Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester offers a multitude of nationally recognized programs that have proven themselves effective – programs that address today’s most pressing youth issues, and teach young people the skills they need to succeed in life. They offer more than 30 quality youth development programs designed to develop character and life-enhancing skills.
We are proud to be able to support them in their mission to inspire and enable young people of all backgrounds to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. They are committed to proving that every kid has what it takes to overcome negative environments and move toward fulfilling their dreams and choosing us means you too have helped aid in keeping that commitment strong.
Thanks again for your support of both AOK, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester, and the many other organizations making Rochester a better place to be!
Walk-in Wednesday
Walk-in Wednesdays will be on a hiatus while we look to settle into our new space. We are hoping to bring them back in the future, but in the meantime keep an eye out for specific flash day, walk-in events.
Also, as always, please feel free to give us a call to ask about walk-in availability whenever you get the itch for new work and think you would like us to scratch it anytime Tuesday-Saturday.
